The Global Entrepreneurship Week will take place in 140 countries, including Belarus, on 16-22 November, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Economy Ministry.
Belarus will join this initiative for the fifth time. "The Global Entrepreneurship Week is a good incentive to set up your own business and a platform to share experience between foreign and Belarusian partners. The Week will gather business leaders, international experts, diplomats, representatives of financial institutions, business unions and the authorities," the Economy Ministry said.
The key event of the Week will be the 5th International Entrepreneurship Forum slated for 16 November. The forum will include a discussion on efficient financial instruments for business promotion. Attending the event will be experts of the Development Bank, the World Bank, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the Small and Medium-Sized Business Promotion Bank. The Week will also highlight the discussion of new opportunities for small and medium-sized business development with the participation of representatives of the Entrepreneurship Development Council. The event will feature master classes of such successful businessmen as Oleg Khusayenov, Alexander Knyrovich, Arkady Dobkin, Valery Tsepkalo. Belarus President's aide Kirill Rudy and Economy Minister Vladimir Zinovsky are expected to deliver speeches at the opening ceremony of the Week.
The Global Entrepreneurship Week in Belarus will also feature other events such as the International Startup Conference with the participation of leaders of the U.S., European and Belarusian startup environment (17 November), a conference entitled Entering New Markets with the participation of the EU embassies, international business associations, industrial companies (18 November), and a business consultations exchange (20 November).
