Belarusian companies should put more efforts into reaching international levels and entering the international market. The opinion was voiced by Chairman of the Polish-Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Kazimierz Zdunowski in Vitebsk on 24 October, BelTA has learned.

VITEBSK, 13 October (BelTA) – A long-term tripartite agreement of intent for cooperation in physical education and sport between Polotsk District, Daugavpils and Rezekne Municipalities of Latvia was signed in Daugavpils following the international amateur ice hockey tournament, BelTA learned from the Polotsk district executive committee.

MINSK, 7 October (BelTA) – The Vitebsk-based factory OAO Vizas Plant will deliver the first batch of machine tools to Asia. Experts of the World Bank have given recommendations regarding corporate management to the Development Bank of the Republic of Belarus (DBRB) since the Belarusian bank is now in charge of coordinating lending to government programs and arranging tenders for these purposes, the DBRB press service told BelTA.

MINSK, 15 September (BelTA) – Nikolai Domashevich has been relieved of the post of the Belarus President’s Aide – Chief Inspector for Vitebsk Oblast due to his retirement. Nikolai Sherstnev has been appointed in his stead. The corresponding executive orders were signed by Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko on 15 September, BelTA learned from the presidential press service.
